Asako Narahashi

I fell in love with this photo set by Asako Narahashi. It's titled "Half Asleep and Half Awake in the Water" and it is a collection of C-Prints of various coastlines in Japan. She apparently floats chest deep in the ocean with her back towards the shore, half-submerging her camera in the water and times her pictures according to the swells of the waves.

I adore the mixture of feelings I get when I look at them. Caught between the awe of the beauty of the waves as well as the growing apprehension of eventually going under water.
