Aw this project is adorable. I saw it on Refinery29 and I knew I had to share it. Every year the CFDA will commission a team to create a CFDA journal of portraits of the nominees and their clothes. For 2012, Laird collaborated with photographer Craig McDean to shoot the nominees in their own environments and spaces. The result? Everyone looking comfortable and less like celebrities and more like... well, us.
